Stav
Head of Strategy & Partnerships
Originally from sunny Brisbane, (home of the Gabba), Stav took an unconventional route after high school, deferring his spot at university to explore the world. That decision sparked a lifelong passion for travel and allowed him to discover a wide world of sports along the way.
His superpower? Building strong, lasting partnerships that work for everyone. That skill continues to serve him well in his current role leading the ICL Toronto team.

When he’s not knee-deep in strategy or relationship-building, you’ll probably find Stav at the nets, on a squash court, tennis court, or golf course. A lifelong sports fan and former competitive cricket and soccer player, he still thrives on staying active - these days, just at a slightly slower pace!

Chris
Head of Operations
Cricket has always been at the heart of Chris’s story. Growing up in Australia, he played both outdoor and indoor cricket competitively, alongside Aussie Rules football. That passion never left him - even after a successful 17-year career in leadership and executive roles.

Since moving to Canada in 2007 (first Vancouver, now Toronto), Chris has been on a mission to grow the game he loves. As a co-founder of ICL Toronto, he’s bringing his knack for operations and his lifelong love of cricket together to help build something special for the community.

When he's not at the nets or fine-tuning strategy behind the scenes, you’ll find Chris spending time with his family, digging into music, or planning his next adventure.

Carré
Head of Marketing
Cricket has been part of Carré’s DNA for as long as he can remember. Growing up in Australia, his love for the game was sealed early, especially after meeting cricket greats David Boon, Steve Waugh, and Allan Border when he was just seven.
Since then, whether playing, coaching, or now helping build a new home for Indoor Cricket in Canada, the sport has stayed close to his heart.
With a background in communications, he spent nearly two decades in senior roles at a global travel company, where he built customer-first campaigns and creative teams across five continents.

Carre is combining his professional experience with his passion for cricket to help grow the game and foster a fun, welcoming community for players of all ages and backgrounds.

Shak
Head of Finance
Born and raised in Karachi, Shakil has loved cricket for as long as he can remember. Since moving to Canada in 1996, he’s continued that passion both as a dedicated player - currently active in Toronto’s BEDCL league - and as a big supporter of growing the game in his local community.

Off the pitch, Shakil brings over two decades of finance experience to the table. He’s worked across accounting, auditing, risk management, and strategic planning.
​
A true team player both on and off the field, Shak is passionate about using his skills to help build a thriving cricket community in Toronto. When he’s not playing or crunching numbers, you’ll find him spending quality time with family, travelling, or enjoying a good movie.
